Magine revamps German offering with new pay TV channels
Sweden-based OTT TV provider Magine is migrating to a full-fledged subscription model in Germany, the company has revealed.
Magine is to offer a ‘Magic’ package including new content from pay TV partners Sony, Discovery, Turner and Universal. Channels in the package include TNT Movie, Boomerang, Sony Entertainment TV, Cartoon Network, Universal Channel, E! Entertainment, Nick Jr, Animal Planet, MTV Live, Animax, AXN, CNN International, Ginx TV and Fuel TV, as well as public and commercial free-to-air services for €16.99 a month.
The company will also offer a package comprising the free-to-air services alone for a ‘technical’ fee of €6.99.
Magine will also continue to offer a premium Max package for €23.99 containing additional pay TV services YFE, Docubox, Nautical Channel, Fastandfunbox, C Music, Duck TV, Body in Balance, Filmbox Arthouse, Fightbox and Fashionbox.
Magine has also announced that it will introduce support for Windows 8 smartphones and tablets in the near future.
Magine beta-launched in Germany in 2013, ahead of a full commercial launch in April this year.
