Pluto TV and BBC Studios expand roll-out of Top Gear FAST channel
Paramount Global’s FAST provider Pluto TV has expanded its agreement with BBC Studios to launch the Top Gear FAST channel on the Pluto TV platform in another five European markets
The BBC car franchise which is already available on Pluto TV in Spain and Nordic markets as well as in the US and Canada, debuted in in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, and Italy on October 13.
The entertainment format follows the hosts as they explore and drive various cars across the world, while competing in a range of car-related challenges.
In the German-speaking territories, the channel will showcase seasons 5 to 14 and 23 to 26. The Top Gear FAST channel in France will feature seasons 9 to 27, whilst in Italy the channel includes seasons 2 to 25, with all channels available with local language dubbing.
BBC Studios existing portfolio of FAST channels include Doctor Who available in Spain, Italy, France and Germany, BBC Drama in Spain, Italy and France, as well as BBC Food, BBC Travel and BBC History in Germany.
