DAZN and Bouygues Telecom ink distribution deal in France
DAZN Group, has signed a distribution agreement with French telecommunications operator Bouygues Telecom, broadening its reach in France following the recent launch of the sports streaming service in the country.
Per the deal, Bouygues Telecom customers will be eligible for a free month trial with DAZN, followed by a flat rate of €14.99 per month to access the streamer’s sports content available in the region.
The agreement comes the back off the recent launch of DAZN in France, in partnership with French pay TV giant Canal+ which DAZN is to show Ligue 1 matches via the Canal+ local Ligue 1 channel. The linear channel, DAZN 1 bundled with Canal+, houses content from the UEFA Women’s Champions League, Belgian Juliper Pro League, as well as boxing and combat match ups.
“Our goal is to provide the best possible entertainment and sports experience to all fans. This is a key moment in our long-term project aimed at becoming a leader in sports broadcasting in France,” said Marc Watson, chief commercial officer of DAZN.

DAZN content ranges from top-level football, with competitions such as Bundesliga, D1 Arkema, English Premier League, J.League, LALIGA, Serie A, the UEFA Champions League, as well as some preeminent sporting events like Formula 1, NBA, MotoGP and UFC.
