SPI International unveils Halloween Smart Channel

Canal+ company, SPI International, has expanded its Smart Channels’ digital channel portfolio with the launch of a new Halloween Smart Channel.

The Halloween Smart Channel is available exclusively on the FilmBox+ platform, with a collection of horror and adventure films.

Smart Channels are curated playlists by SPI showcasing on-demand content that play back-to-back similar to traditional linear channels. Available worldwide via the FilmBox+ platform, Smart Channels are fully digital and offer genre-specific programming or content dedicated to actors, directors or themes.

The Halloween Smart Channel features horror classics and recent film releases. Among the offering are films such as Welcome to the Jungle, Vivarium, House of 9, Scream 4, Escapee and Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark.

The channel provider noted the selection of titles varies based on the licensed territories.

FilmBox+ has rolled-out over 300 Smart Channels that span across animation, documentary, lifestyle, sports and more, said SPI. FilmBox+ provides instant access to an extensive catalogue of video-on-demand (VOD) and live channels.

Commenting on the Halloween Smart Channel, SPI said the new channel was “meticulously curated to cater not only to die-hard horror enthusiasts but also to a broader audience.”
