Parrot Analytics: ‘Ahsoka’ tops chart in Switzerland
Disney+ series Ahsoka has climbed to the top once again on Parrot Analytics’ latest originals in-demand chart for the week ending September 30 in Switzerland.
Parrot Analytics analyses the demand for recent popular digital titles across international markets, based on the application of artificial intelligence to expressions of demand across social media, fan sites, peer-to-peer protocols and file-sharing platforms.
Parrot’s dataset compares the demand that exists for each series in this market, against the average TV show. A difference of 1x represents the market average and 10x means a series is 10 times more in demand than the average TV show in this market.
The Star Wars spin-off that landed on Disney+ in August continues to be a hit with audiences, with the series attracting 29.28 times the demand of an average show.
The streaming platform was the most sought service in Switzerland, with three other titles on Disney+ making appearances on the chart. Though, Disney+ original The Mandalorian, also from the Star Wars universe garnered a less impressive score of 11.26 times the demand of an average show. Hulu titles, available via Disney+ in Switzerland, landed in third (Only Murders In The Building) and fifth (Futurama).
Netflix’s last edition of Sex Education scored 19.52 times the demand of an average show, securing second place on Parrot Analytics’ top 10. The anime adaptation, One Piece, from the streamer is still running strong among audiences, coming in seventh spot.
Shows from Apple TV+ such as Foundation and Ted Lasso also featured in the chart, along with Amazon Prime Video’s titles The Wheel Of Time and Good Omens.
