wedotv FAST channels launch on Joyn in Germany and Austria

The Swiss-based AVOD and FAST channel provider wedotv is expanding its reach in Germany and Austria, with wedotv FAST channels launching on the ProSiebenSat.1-owned streaming platform Joyn.

Joyn subscribers will have free access to the content provider’s FAST channels –  wedo movies, wedo sports and wedo big stories.

The film service wedo movies features popular high-quality contemporary films. wedo sports is aimed at sports fans with live broadcasts of horse races, sailing and golf tournaments as well as highlights from football, Formula 1, e-sports and martial arts. While, wedo big stories focuses on nature and science documentaries, as well as outdoor/adventure programming from the factual entertainment production house Big Media.

The FAST provider has also announced it has secured over 50 German and international productions for its film catalogue in partnership with with the distribution house OneGate, part of the Studio Hamburg Group.

wedotv has already established a strong presence in Germany and Austria, with its FAST channels available on FAST operators such as LG Channels, Zattoo, waipu.tv, and Vidaa across the two regions.
