GO Malta taps Simply.TV and Minerva for new OTT offering

Maltese telco GO Malta has tapped metadata specialist Simply.TV and TV technology outfit Minerva to power the user interface and experience of the EPG and VOD for its pay TV customers.

Using Simply.TV’s metadata solutions, GO Malta aims to deliver an enriched content discovery experience, underpinned by the strategic backing of IPTV technology provider Minerva Networks.

Built on AI and ML-driven technologies and combined with editorial workflows, Simply.TV supports near real-time data, excellent image coverage, keywords/descriptors, sports products, character logos, social media and global ID structures.
