India’s Jio unveils Netflix prepaid bundles
Reliance Industries-owned telco operator and TV provider in India Jio has launched prepaid plans bundled with a Netflix subscription.
A Netflix subscription is already available on select Jio Postpaid and Jio Fiber plans.
According to the telco, this is the first time that Netflix will be made available to users through a bundled telco prepaid plan. The new bundle will be available to 400 million of Jio prepaid customers.
The mobile Netflix plan which includes unlimited 5G data with the Jio Welcome Offer of 2 GB/day data at INR1099. While, the Netflix basic plan for larger screens, including unlimited 5G data with Jio Welcome Offer for 3 GB/day data is INR1499.

The offering comes following Netflix’s slate of Tamil and Telugu language titles including Beast, Godfather, Dhamaka, Love Today, Major, Dasara and Virupaksham which launched on the platform earlier this year.
