Starzplay to expand football content with Starzplay Fantasy Sports game

Streaming service Starzplay Arabia is to expand its sport content offering in the MENA region with the addition of its free-to-play Web 3.0 football game Starzplay Fantasy Sports.

The football prediction game launches ahead of the new Serie A 2023/24 season exclusively on the Starzplay Sports.

While watching live matches, players of Starzplay Fantasy Sports can make predictions around live Serie A matches and other regional leagues to win a range of prizes. This includes forecasting scores, possession percentages, identifying the first goal scorer via in-game arenas.

Among the prizes are the in-game currency Starz$ which can be used to buy NFTs and can be redeemed for vouchers, as well as Starzplay subscriptions, Serie A football merchandise, Serie A match tickets and meet-and-greet experiences with footballers. Prizes will also be offered to players by third-party sponsors. Players can also buy and trade NFTs in a real time marketplace to create their own special team and boost their predictive performance.

The HTML5 game runs over the Skale Network and will be hosted in Amazon AWS marketplace to support the peak of users and provide a high-quality experience during matches.
