Orange España to offer full line-up of football
Orange España is to distribute Spanish and international football as part of its offering for the coming season.
Orange said it was once again positioning itself as an alternative platform to Telefónica for football fans by distributing LaLiga first and second division football, the Copa del Rey, UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League and Europa Conference League on its TV service.
Orange will broadcast all matches of the 20 teams in the first division of LaLiga – LaLiga EA Sports – across the new season’s 38 match days, beginning with the matche between UD Almería and Rayo Vallecano on August 11.
Coverage of international competitions will begin with European Super Cup match between Sevilla FC and Manchester City, respectively winders of the Europa League and Champions League, on August 16.
Orange will also offer coverage of the second division LaLiga Hypermotion from Spain.
In addition to football coverage, Orange also provides coverage of Formula 1, Moto GP, tennis, cycling and other sports via packages that include sports streaming service DAZN.
Orange is promoting its football offering to attract new subscribers with a discount of €15 a month for a 24-month contract, or €360 in total, to new customers who include one of the football offerings in their contract.
The operator is also offering the same discount to sole trader commercial customers who take one of its commercial contracts with football – Love Empresa Impulsa 1 or Love Empresa Impulsa 3 – and discounts of 30% over 12 months to bars that sign up to its new Multideco variant on Love Empresa Impulsa that provides the ability to deliver different sports to different screens at the same time.
