LG Channels expands sports offering

LG Electronics’ (LG) free streaming service, LG Channels has expanded is sports FAST offering in Europe, Latin America and Australia.

The football FAST channel, FIFA+ launched on LG channels across LG Smart TVs in Europe, Latin America and Australia. The football channel features a range of Originals, live broadcasts and archive programming.

The wedoTV FAST channel wedo sports debuted on LG Channels in Germany, Austria and Switzerland this month. wedo sports showcases the horse racing events Royal Ascot and the Breeder’s Cup, along with sailing competitions such as the German Sailing Bundesliga, the Sailing Champions League and SailGP. The German-language, 24-hour service also airs weekly programs with highlights from football, Formula 1, e-sports and martial art. wedo sport’s also delivers original documentaries on Tiger Woods, David Beckham, Michael Schumacher, and Manchester United.

Also included in the offering is the YouTube’s format Shoot for Love where they put well-known footballers to the test. Premium sports channel Unbeaten features the biggest events and athletes in football, tennis and golf history on LG Channels in the UK, France, Germany, Spain and Italy. The 24-hour live sports app, Tennis Channel lands on the LG FAST platform in the UK, Germany and Austria.

While last May, LG Channels partnered with the live sports streaming service to add DAZN FAST, DAZN Rise, DAZN Combat and DAZN Women’s Football to its smart TVs.
