Movistar Plus+ adds Galician-language content to on-demand offering

Telefónica’s TV service Movistar Plus+ has added a raft of Galician-language on-demand content from regional Spanish broadcaster Nós Televisión to its line-up.

The streamer has added 200 titles from Galician regional broadcaster Nós to its VOD offering, spanning engtertainemnt, news, interviews, series and documentaries and topics such as the literature, music, visual arts, language, education, movies, politics and history of Galicia.

Titles includes Vía Rosalía, a three episode series about Galician author Rosalía de Castro, Ensino do galego, o que está a faltar, about the teaching of the Galician language, Galego de todo o mundo, a series by professor Eduardo Maragoto focusing on the connection between Galician and Portuguese, Universo Galaxia, featuring interviews with Galician authors, GZ Música, a series featuring Galician music, Inventario de Vespoideas, focusing on Galican inventors, and Rostros do País, an interview based series spanning politics, the academic world, language and culture.
