France Télévisions and ASO renew Tour de France agreement until 2030
France Télévisions has renewed its deal with Amaury Sport Organisation (ASO) to provide coverage of all its cycling events from 2026 to 2030 including Tour de France and the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift.
Along with the Tour de France, the renewed agreement allows France Télévisions to continue to broadcast the Paris-Nice, the Schneider Electric Marathon de Paris, Paris-Roubaix and Paris-Roubaix Femmes avec Zwift, the Flèche Wallonne, Liège-Bastogne-Liège, the Tro Bro Léon and the Critérium du Dauphiné.
Programming on the cycling competitions will also include real-time tracking of the race, as well as the Team Radio which provides an on-screen relay of conversations between sporting directors and riders.
The French broadcaster will also share the latest news about ASO events on its francetvsport digital platforms and social network accounts. It will also film the images on behalf of ASO for all its events taking place on French territory.
“The Tour de France is part of the history and heritage of the French people. Each summer, the Tour de France and now the Tour de France Femmes excite French and foreign spectators. I am therefore very proud and pleased to see France Télévisions continue its partnership with A.S.O. to bring one of the world’s greatest sporting events to as many people as possible,” said Delphine Ernotte Cunci, chief executive officer of France Télévisions.
Yann Le Moenner, managing director of Amaury Sport Organisation added: “Thanks to the wealth of editorial content that accompanies the live broadcasts, both on the programmes themselves and on digital platforms, the general public has a 360° view of all our events. The production quality and the commitment of France Télévisions alongside us for all of our projects are considerable assets for the development of our events. Proof of this is the immediate support from France Télévisions and its determination to promote women’s cycling, in particular through the very recent emergence of the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift. This new agreement promises even more future innovations, to glorify the elite sportsmen and sportswomen thus enthralling millions of television viewers and fans in the 190 countries where the images of our events are broadcast”.
