Tele Columbus names new supervisory board members
German cable operator Tele Columbus has expanded its supervisory board from four to five with the appointment of two new members and the resignation of one.
The operator has named Ralf Hartings and Friedrich Joussen to the board.
Hartings, who will serve as deputy chairman, has been a member of the management board of United Internet since 2023 and is responsible for finance and control, risk management, internal audit, legal, taxes, M&A and investment management. He has more than 20 years of international professional experience in the IT and telecommunications industry, working for companies such as Vodafone, Verizon Wireless, AOL and P&I AG. Most recently, he held the position of CFO at 1&1 Mail & Media Applications in United Internet Group.
Joussen is currently working as a freelance consultant for United Internet AG. Previously, he was CEO of the TUI Group from 2013 to 2022. From 2005 to 2012 he was CEO of Vodafone Deutschland GmbH and before that he held various positions in the Vodafone and Mannesmann Mobilfunk Group.
Martin Mildner, previously deputy chairman of the supervisory board, has meanwhile resigned his seat.
Other serving members of the new board are Marc van’t Noordende as chairman, Christoph Oppenauer and Annelies van Zutphen.
van’t Noordende said: “With Ralf Hartings and Friedrich Joussen, we have been able to gain two excellent additions to the Supervisory Board of Tele Columbus AG, who fully correspond to our desired profile of skills and those for the composition of the board reflect the agreed goals in the form of their comprehensive expertise.”
