Orange Belgium makes new board appointments following Voo acquisition
Following its acquisition of a majority stake in Wallonia cable operator Voo, Orange Belgium’s board has approved the nomination of Philippe Toussaint as member of the company’s executive committee while Voo’s board has nominated Philippe Toussaint as well as Stéphane Le Goff and Gildas Bouchet as new executive committee members at Voo.
Toussaint joined Orange Belgium (Mobistar at the time) as product manager and was promoted to director of product development in 2005 leading the mobile, roaming, interconnection and carrier products and services. In 2016, he initiated and drove the launch of the broadband and TV line of business. In 2018, he was appointed corporate strategy director playing a key role in the RAN sharing agreement with Proximus and the acquisition file of Voo.
Le Goff joined Orange Belgium/Mobistar in 2009, also as product manager, where he held various positions in business development and partnership management. On top of his new appointment as chief wholesale officer at Voo, he will continue as director wholesale and fixed access at Orange Belgium.
Bouchet started his career at the Orange Group in 2002 and worked for Orange in France and Spain. He held various positions in the controlling department such as business controller and country controller and became head of financial planning and analysis as well as director central controlling in Spain. At Orange Belgium he was a finance programme director until his nomination.
