Globecast hires Jean-Christophe Perier to head marketing department
Media solutions provider, Globecast, has named Jean-Christophe Perier as chief marketing officer, starting the role effective immediately.
Perier will lead both marketing communications and product marketing for Globecast. He will be responsible for steering the marketing and external communications strategy worldwide. Working with his team, Perier will continue to deploy innovative services and work to strengthen external communications to support the company’s global strategic initiatives.
His appointment comes as former head of marketing, Denis Genevois, departs after 22 years with the company,
The chief brings experience across broadcast, cloud, IPTV and OTT services, having worked with clients such as Canal+, NTV+, Sky, Etisalat and Orange during his time at Technicolor and SoftAtHome. He also created and managed Veygo, developing OTT and multiscreen solutions, with Huawei, Ooredoo, Telecentro, and Vidgo as customers.
