Mexico’s Izzi expands reach with Zacatecas launch
Televisa-owned Mexican service provider Izzi has extended its reach by launching pay TV, broadband and fixed and mobile telephony services in the city of Zacatecas, its second city launch this year.
Izzi said that it was marketing services through four branch offices and 13 points of sale in the city, targeting over 100,000 new households as well as small and medium-sized businesses in the Zacatecas region.
Izzi’s offering includes izzitv and the associated multiscreen app izzigo, providing a range of streaming services on multiple devices, fixed telephony and mobile and fibre-based broadband.
The TV service offers over 100 channels, with streaming services integrated in the Izzi Combo offering. The service is Android TV-based and includes voice control.
Izzi is progressively expanding its reach to additional cities across Mexico.
“It gives us great satisfaction that Zacatecas has become the second city in which we are expanding our presence in 2023. And we are sure that are will be rapidly positioning ourselves among the preferred services of Zacatecans since our offering adds value: we offer the highest quality in our broad spectrum of services, using the most modern technology and looking always to think about how to benefit the pockets of our customers,” said René Bortoni, regional director for central Mexico at Izzi.
