CBS AMC Networks UK unveils true crime FAST channel

AMC Networks International and Paramount Global via its joint venture CBS AMC Networks UK, have launched FAST channel, True Crime UK from CBS Reality, debuting on Amazon Freevee and Rakuten TV.

True Crime UK is to launch on more major platforms later in the year, with a slate of shows that includes Evidence of Evil, Murder Wall, Donal MacIntyre Unsolved, as well as, exclusive third party content such as Medical Detectives from CBS Reality.

The CBS AMC Networks UK channels partnership owns and operates the four entertainment channels, CBS Reality, RealityXtra, Legend, and HorrorXtra. The channels feature a diverse portfolio of series, movies and documentaries from CBS’s extensive television library together with CBS Reality original productions airing on CBS Reality, complemented by entertainment programming from third party suppliers. 

Amazon Freevee is a streaming video service with an offering of thousands of premium movies and TV shows, including Originals and FAST channels. While Rakuten’s universe of content is made up of TVOD, and FAST channels. It has line-up of over 500 FAST channels among which 100 are owned and operated across Europe.

Both services are available via various outlets such as Prime Video, Amazon Fire TV, Roku devices, Apple TV and iOS and Android devices.
