Starzplay hires Tony Saab to lead content and strategic partnerships

Starzplay Arabia has appointed Tony Saab as senior vice president of content and strategic partnerships.

Saab will be tasked with developing and implementing content acquisition and original production strategies to further boost Starzplay’s library. His role includes all aspects of content- acquisition, programming, and production for various genres, including movies, series, documentaries, sports, and kids’ content.

He will also be in charge of building and renewing strategic relationships with regional as well as global players.

Saab was previously positioned at Intigral for 13 years, heading content and production, as well as overseeing and leading content acquisition. He was also responsible for managing the operational and technology capability of Intigral’s IPTV and OTT broadcast operations.

His other previous stints include senior positions at Sharjah Media Corporation and Rotana.
