SeaChange launches Xstream to support burgeoning CTV/FAST market
Streaming solutions provider SeaChange International has announced the launch of its Xstream platform, a cloud-based content monetisation solution that it says will help “OEMs and content owners maximise advertising revenue on Connected TVs.”
According to SeaChange, the Xstream platform “provides the full set of capabilities to monetise CTV ad inventory for content owners, manufacturers, and operating system providers alike, ranging from streaming enablement via content aggregation to targeted insertion of advertisement from multiple demand sources.”

SeaChange is formally launching the Xstream platform on January 6th and will start onboarding customers in the first quarter of 2023. According to Klimmer, the solution offers something for all stakeholders in the FAST/CTV ecosystem: “With the launch of Xstream, SeaChange can help TV manufacturers, operating systems and platform providers gain more control over how they monetise content to generate higher yield.
