Jamie Brewer to oversee EMEA media services and facilities at Gravity Media

Media services provider Gravity Media has announced the appointment of Jamie Brewer as its director of media services and facilities across EMEA.

Brewer joined the company in January 2021 as head of broadcast and post production rental, and holds over 20 years of experience in technology and media. He previously held roles at companies including Presteigne Broadcast Hire, Fremantle Media, and Warner Bros. Entertainment.

In this new role, Brewer will be charged with driving the strategic direction of Gravity Media’s Media Services and Facilities functions across EMEA while working closely with the company’s senior leadership team and all departments in the business. 

Brewer said: “I am delighted to be promoted to director – media services and facilities. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at Gravity Media, growing the UK rental team and driving our Equipment Rental & Sales across broadcast and post-production services. I am excited for the new challenges that lie ahead in my next role and to develop Gravity’s Media Services & Facilities functions further.”

Jamie has grown our Equipment Rental & Sales offering tremendously over the last year and with the launch of our two new Production Centres located in Manchester and White City, we look forward to Jamie overseeing the growth of this part of the business.”

The promotion of Brewer comes shortly after Gravity Media announced the hire of ITV’s Steve Kruger as executive director – technology and the promotion of Pete Newton to the role of executive director – media services and facilities.
