Amagi takes Cloudport to Google Cloud Marketplace
Cloud-based SaaS technology for broadcast and connected TV provider Amagi has announced the general availability of its cloud playout product, Amagi Cloudport, on Google Cloud Marketplace. Amagi said that the move enhanced its SaaS offerings to customers by combining the advantages of its live and on-demand video infrastructure services with Google Cloud’s solutions.
The outfit said that the partnership with Google Cloud was a logical next step in its efforts to solidify its position as an innovative SaaS provider in media and entertainment.
Amagi provides solutions for channel creation, distribution, and monetisation. Amagi clients include ABS-CBN, AccuWeather, A+E Networks UK, Cinedigm, Cox Media Group, Crackle Plus. Fremantle, Gannett, Gusto TV, NBCUniversal, Tastemade, The Roku Channel and Vice Media among others.
