Hulu creates VP of Animation role

Hulu Originals has promoted Kelci Parker to the newly created role of VP of animation as part of the Disney-owned streamer’s adult animation push.

Parker, who was promoted to VP of comedy originals in November, will now oversee the development and current programming operations for original animation, reporting to head of scripted content, Jordan Helman.

The streamer’s current slate of original adult animation includes titles Koala Man, Futurama, Solar Opposites and Hit-Monkey.

Parker joined Hulu in July 2020 and has previously served as the lead development/current programming exec on comedies such as Only Murders In The Building, How I Met Your Father and Life And Beth, as well as animated titles MODOK and Hit-Monkey.
