TV homes flat at Türk Telekom Group
State-owned Turkish telecommunications company Türk Telekom Group has reported a flat level of subscribers.
The operator ended Q1 2022 with 17.0 million fixed access lines, 14.5 million broadband, 2.9 million TV and 24.4 million mobile subscribers. The total number of Türk Telekom subscribers reached 52.2 million with 350K net additions in Q1’22.
Overall, the telco has added 1.6 million subscribers during the last 12 months.
TV homes remained flat, with no net gains or losses – a total of 1.5 million TV home subscribers.
The operator recorded 14.5 million net fixed broadband subscribers, adding 151,000 subscribers in Q1, behind expectations.
Fibre subscribers meanwhile increased by 729,000 subscribers for a total of 10.3 million. The number of FTTC subscribers reached 7.3 million, while the number of FTTH/B subscribers increased to 3 million.
