RTL Play gets new apps

Luxembourg-based media giant RTL has partnered with Alteox to develop new apps for its RTL Play streaming service.

The digital media and ICT consulting company has developed several new applications for RTL Luxembourg’s streaming service to expand its distribution to new OTT platforms globally.

RTL Play is the streaming home of all RTL TV shows, reports, and original podcasts, with new content added on a daily basis in Luxembourgish, French and English. 

The new RTL Play apps will be available on Amazon Fire TV, Android TV devices as well as on Samsung Tizen and LG Smart TVs.
