Fix&Foxi lands on African DTH service Moreplex TV

German kids programmer Your Family Entertainment has teamed up with Nigeria-based DTH platform Moreplex TV to make its Fix&Foxi Channel  available in English to all customers across sub-Saharan Africa.

Moreplex Television Ltd, licensed by the National Broadcasting Commission, provides free-to-view and pay TV services across DTH, DTT, OTT, and VOD Platforms. DTH service Moreplex TV launched in Nigeria last year, with CEO John Okorocha promising a diet of indigenous content that reflected local traditions at a reasonable price.

The company claims on its website to have around 100,000 customers across 10 countries.

Okorocha said: “Moreplex TV is excited to have Fix&Foxi Channel on our platform. We are sure that Fix&Foxi Channel’s rich variety of kids-safe entertaining and educational programs will compliment and complete Moreplex TV.”
