Finland’s DNA names new CEO
Jussi Tolvanen has been named as the new president and CEO of Telenor-owned Finnish service provider DNA. The company’s current president and CEO, Jukka Leinonen, will become the full-time head of the Telenor Group’s Nordic Cluster.
Tolvanen will take up his new role on October 11. He is currently the CEO of Microsoft in Finland and previously worked as CEO of Avanade Finland and in various management positions at Fujitsu and Hewlett-Packard.
Leinonen will take over the position of full-time leader of the Telenor Group’s Nordic Cluster and become chairman of the Board of DNA as part of his role as Head of Telenor’s Nordic operations (EVP Head of Nordics).
“It is really great to get Jussi to continue my work as the CEO of DNA. His approach to business is strongly customer and people-centred, which fits perfectly with DNA’s mindset and culture. In addition, he has extensive experience in the IT industry and the corporate market, which further strengthens our expertise. So I think he’s just the right person to take DNA forward. I have had an incredibly great experience leading DNA, and it has been a pleasure to lead this company,” said Leinonen.
“It is a pleasure and an honour to join the DNA team. The company is a pioneer in bringing new services and solutions to Finnish consumers and companies. I would like to thank Jukka and the top team of DNA as a whole for their excellent work and results. I know DNA’s values and corporate culture as my own and I believe that we have a significant opportunity to grow and develop together,” said Tolvanen.
