Huawei Video strikes deal with Clubbing TV
Chinese tech giant Huawei’s Huawei Video unit has struck an agreement with Clubbing TV to distribute the music channel across more than 60 countries in Europe, the Asia-Pacific, Middle East, Africa, and Latin America.
The strategic partnership gives Huawei Video users access to Clubbing TV’s linear feed and video portfolio.
Huawei Video subscribers will be able to watch Clubbing TV’s linear feed via a premium linear section of the service that will be advertising free. In Western Europe countries, with a subscription fee of €3.99 per month.
In addition to the linear feed, the long-format video assets of the channel will be rolling out across all Huawei Video platforms in the Premium VOD section.
The VOD service will offer more than 300 pieces of content including concerts, festivals, sets from the biggest DJs and long-format documentaries. The Freemium VOD offering will include more than 1,500 dance music short-format videos, reports, interviews and talk-shows.
Huawei Video is a monthly app-based subscription service available to users with a Huawei smartphone or tablet with EMUI 5.x and above.
