Virgin Media has announced a deal with Sky which will bring Ultra HD channels to the pay TV operator.
Virgin TV customers subscribed to the top-tier Ultimate Oomph package will gain access to Sky Entertainment and Sky Cinema Ultra HD at no extra cost.
The deal will also bring more than 1,300 TV episodes and 250 films in UHD including series like The Blacklist and movies such as Birds of Prey. Virgin said that new TV series and films made available by Sky in Ultra HD will also be made available to watch on demand.
Virgin’s TV 360 platform houses a dedicated section to Sky Entertainment and Sky Cinema Ultra HD content in its Box Sets and Movies section.
