Now TV hires Universal Pictures marketing man Jamie Schwartz
Sky-owned OTT business Now TV has announced the hiring of Jamie Schwartz as director of brand, marketing and merchandising.
Schwartz, who previously held senior positions at The Weinstein Company, Momentum Pictures and AMV BBDO, joins from Universal Pictures International where he served as EVP of marketing for Focus Features. In that position he was responsible for devising and implementing theatrical film release plans, international marketing strategy and campaigns, PVOD/VOD release strategy, and creative development.
At Now TV, the exec will report into managing director Marina Storti and be responsible for core brand development and guardianship, marketing strategy and campaigns, media planning, along with PR, social, editorial and in-product merchandising.
