M7 Deutschland supplying UHD TV channels to BrightBlue

Canal+-owned channel provider M7 Deutschland has begun providing three UHD TV services to BrightBlue, the white label IPTV service provider launched by fibre network provider Deutsche Glasfaser in 2018 that serves a number of partners across the country.

M7 Deutschland is providing Insight TV UHD, Fashion 4K and Love Nature 4K, which it hadded to its portfolio of cable channels last June, to BrightBlue. The latter is now offering the three channels to its distribution partners, including fibure network operators, multincipal utilities and others.

The deal comes as BrightBlue prepares to start offering 4K-capable IPTV boxes to its partners.

M7 and BrightBlue had already agreed to cooperate in the distribution of IPTV channels early last year. The partnership agreement gave BrightBlue access to over 140 channels from the likes of RTL, ProSiebenSat.1 and other German-language and international channels for distribution to potential or current customers for M7 content.
