MultiChoice names Kenya managing director
South Africa-based pay TV operator MultiChoice has named Nancy Matimu as its managing director for Kenya.
The operator said that her appointment was expected to further strengthen the businessin the East African country, where MultiChoice provides the DStv satellite and lower-cost GOtv brands.
Prior to joining MultiChoice Kenya, Matimu was vice-president, head of market development, sub-Saharan Africa at MasterCard.
She previously served in HFC Bank as chief digital and marketing officer and at Safaricom where she held various roles including head of Safaricom home and content, head of consumer products and services, head of internet and content, and head of enterprise products and innovation.
She has also worked at Airtel Africa as the general manager, marketing, and head of products and innovation revenue management.
