Adult channel Vivid Red HD to launch on Nova in Greece

Greek digital satellite pay TV operator Nova has signed a distribution deal with adult entertainment company Gamma Broadcast Group.

The deal will see Gamma’s Vivid Red HD adult channel made available to Nova’s pay TV subscribers.

Nova is one of Greece’s largest home entertainment and communication services bundlers. Its products range from the Nova Energy home energy service to Nova 3play, its broadband, pay TV and fixed line telephone bundle. Currently the company charts 900,000 pay TV subscribers.

The arrangement marks the latest distribution deal for Vivid, which has deals in more than 50 countries. It claims to be adult entertainment industry’s “most award-winning adult film company” and says it has amassed the world’s largest archive of adult films of any single studio.

Vivid has been existence for 35 years, and signed formed a strategic alliance with Gamma Broadcast Group in June 2018. In this arrangement, Gamma manages and oversees all day-to-day operations of VividTV and Vivid.com.

This marks the latest Vivid distribution deal brokered by Gamma, and follows the announcement of a similar deal with Orange in France.
