Vodafone UK tempts customers with offer of Apple TV+

Vodafone UK has announced that, as of today, subscribers to its Together entertainment bundle will receive an Apple TV 4K set top box and a 12-month Apple TV+ subscription for free. The news is a further sign of the disruptive impact that the new wave of streamers is likely to have on the PayTV and SVOD market.

Access to Apple TV+ gives Vodafone customers access to Apple Originals like The Morning Show and new offers like Apple Arcade, a game subscription service. Vodafone says Together customers also enjoy “unlimited data and access to 5G in more places across Europe than any other operator at no extra charge. Those who already have a 5G smartphone will benefit from 5G at no extra cost in our 5G areas”.

Max Taylor, consumer director at Vodafone UK said: “We’re giving customers unlimited mobile data, unlimited home broadband and now Apple TV 4K with Apple TV+ included for a year. Now our customers can use Vodafone’s unlimited data to seamlessly stream content – whether they’re in the home, or out and about. With access to live TV, catch-up services, plus our choice of content partners we believe that our customers can get all the entertainment they want in one easy bundle.”
