TransPerfect acquires dubbing firm Lylo
Language and technology solutions provider TransPerfect has announced the acquisition of Lylo Media Group.
Lylo is France’s second-largest dubbing agency, and is a multinational provider of dubbing, voiceover, subtitling, audio description, and hard-of-hearing services. Founded in Brussels in 2012, the company maintains studios in France, Belgium, Germany, Italy and Morocco. It serves customers including Viacom, Discovery, HBO and Ubisoft.
The company will continue to be led by founder and CEO Grégoire Parcollet. Who will hold the title of division president and join TransPerfect’s senior management team.
TransPerfect has also recently announced deals to acquire Lassostudios, Sublime Subtitling & Translation, and AGM Factory. It has heavily invested in advanced dubbing, voiceover, and subtitling services, including AI-powered solutions, to clients through its Media.NEXT platform.
Lylo’s YouDub cloud technology will be integrated with TransPerfect’s Media.NEXT AI-powered platform, as well as the company’s GlobalLink translation management technology.
