Viacom taps Fenu for director of licensing and consumer products in Italy and Greece
Viacom International Media Networks (VIMN) has announced the appointment of Simone Fenu to the role of senior director of licensing and consumer products for Italy and Greece.
In this role, Simone will be responsible for defining the strategy for Viacom Nickelodeon Consumer Products (VNCP) in these regions, leading the VNCP team and managing local CP agencies and partners. He will be based in the main office in Milan, Italy.
Fenu comes to the role with 15 years of experience in the Italian entertainment business. Before joining VIMN, he held roles at Sony and Warner, and most recently, for Planeta Junior where he oversaw the licensing business, as well as content distribution.
VNCP is responsible for all merchandising and retail business tied to Viacom’s extensive portfolio of leading international brands and properties including Nickelodeon, MTV, Comedy Central and Paramount. The business division is charged with developing and implementing licensing and marketing solutions, fostering strong relationships with global and local partners to offer audiences high quality products across the full range of consumer products categories.
Fenu reports to Felix Ruoff, vice president of retail sales and consumer products for VIMN’s Southern and Western Europe, Middle East and Africa business cluster.
