SmartLabs becomes Samsung Smart TV App Developer

Multi-screen and multi-networks solutions provider SmartLabs has been awarded Samsung’s official Smart TV App Developer status.

SmartLabs says that it has gained extensive expertise in the development of applications for a broad range of devices and screen types.

SmartLabs SmartTV Apps are now deployed on many thousands of Samsung SmartTVs, delivering an interactive TV experience, blending linear TV and the latest on-demand services, in an operator branded application

The company says that the partnership with Samsung will allow it a greater level of access to Samsung’s releases and provide high-quality technical support for its operator customers.

SmartLabs CEO Mikhail Grachev said: “This new and closer level of cooperation with Samsung brings additional benefits for operators wishing to get Smart TV app support from the leading vendors.” 

SmartLabs solutions provide over 6 million subscribers in Europe and Russia with access to end-user devices ranging from set-top boxes  to mobile phones and SmartTVs. In addition to Samsung, its partners include Google, Microsoft, Apple and LG.
