RiksTV taps Eurofins for DTT testing

Norwegian digital-terrestrial pay TV operator RiksTV has chosen Eurofins Digital Testing to automate monitoring of service availability of RiksTV digital TV and HDTV services.

RiksTV will use Eurofins’ cloud-based TestWizard system to automate testing and provide performance monitoring for quality assurance for its digital-terrestrial services. TestWizard provides automated tests cases for service validation, insights into the end-user experience, and performance monitoring for quality assurance.

RiksTV offers more than 50 TV channels on its terrestrial platform that are also available on tablets and mobile, as well as radio and music services, weekly archives, movie rentals, streaming services and RiksTV Junior children’s own entertainment. RiksTV is Norway’s only TV distributor to provide digital TV and HDTV via aerial and Internet. The company’s terrestrial network consists of more than 450 ground-based transmitters and reaches 98% of Norwegian households and 90 percent of all holiday homes throughout the country.
