Proximus launches new Scarlet sports offering
Belgian telco Proximus is boosting the TV offering of its low-cost Scarlet brand with a new sports package, International Sports.
As of August 1, the new package will offer a range of sports including the channels of Eleven Sports, for a monthly subscription of €9.95.
The inclusion of Eleven Sports in the package will enable Scarlet subscribers who sign up to view Spanish Liga, the Italian Serie A, the French Ligue 1, the English FA Cup & Capital One Cup, along with other sports such as basketball (NBA), tennis (ATP 250) and American football (NFL).
International Sports will also provide full coverage of the UEFA Champions League on the Proximus 11+ channel, motorsports and extreme sports.
The full channel line-up comprises Eleven Sports 1, 2 and 3, Eurosport 1 and 2, Proximus 11+, Motorsport.tv, AB Moteurs, Sport 10 and Extreme Sports Channel.
Scarlet offers a triple-play package of internet, fixed telephony and TV for €39 a month, with the TV offering comprising 30 mainstream channels such as Francophone services RTBF 1 and 2, RTL-TVI, Club RTL and Plug TV, Dutch-language services één, Canvas, VTM, Vier AND Vifj, and channels from international providers such as Disney Channel, Nickelodeon, Viceland and the BBC.
The service also offers an additional package of kids content for €5.95 and an entertainment offering for €9.95. The service also already offers Belgian football for €11.95 a month, including access to all Jupiler Pro League matches and Proximus League matches.
