Kadija confirmed as Montenegrin pubcaster chief
Andrijana Kadija has been named as the new director-general of Montenegrin public broadcaster Radio Television of Montenegro (RTCG).
Kadija, who has been acting director-general since last December, was confirmed in her post after three rounds of voting.
She previously served as director of TV Montenegro after producing and hosting prime-time shows.
“I want employees to be proud of working in the public service. I want to regain their satisfaction and the trust of citizens,” she said.
RTCG operates two domestic and one international TV channels and a radio service. The broadcaster is state-funded, with some revenue coming from advertising.
