Bouygues Telecom launches 4G internet box

France’s Bouygues Telecom has launched its new 4G Box, offering high-speed WiFi connectivity targeted at users outside of major cities.

The Huawei-made 4G Box is available for €29.99 per-month with no contractual obligation, offering high speed 4G internet to customers that experience slow home broadband speeds.

Bouygues said the compact box will offer WiFi at speeds of up to 250 Mbps for surfing the web, checking emails, watching video and playing games.

Bouygues said users can pay for the service without taking any other phone or TV services and are also eligible to a 30-day trial period.
