Icflix expands reach in Bahrain

Middle East subscription video-on-demand service Icflix has expanded its reach in Bahrain by striking a strategic partnership with local telco Zain Bahrain.

Zain Bahrain prepaid and postpaid customers will be able to view the Icflix library of content for a monthly fee of BD3 (€7.14) that will also include a one-month free trial or a weekly plan of only BD1 and a daily plan of BD0.40.

Customers will also be able to sign up for the service via a one-click registration process.

The deal means that Zain Bahrain customers will be able to enjoy original Icflix productions, including Arabia’s first teen female superhero animated series, Dunia, along with the latest popular Jazwood TV series and hit movies including Qalb Al Asad, Giran Al Saad and Tattah, as well as Hollywood movies such as Lone Survivor, Grace of Monaco and Need for Speed.
