Humax unveils H3 Espresso Smart Media Player

Humax has unveiled the H3 Espresso Smart Media Player, an in-home streaming device for services like Netflix, YouTube and TVPlayer.

The HDMI set-top streaming device will be available in the UK for a suggested retail price of £79.99 and will stream content over WiFi or Ethernet cable.

Netflix, YouTube and TVPlayer will be pre-installed on the device, which will also allow users to view apps and media files from home network connected devices – such as smartphones, tablets or laptops – on an HD TV.

“This innovative Smart Media Player represents yet another technology breakthrough from Humax,” said Graham North, vice president sales at Humax.

“Ideal as a stand-alone streaming device, or in partnership with the Humax Freeview Play PVR range, the H3 Espresso delivers a seamless and easy-to-use solution for multi-room TV viewing.”
