Newsy launches on Hulu in the US
Youth-focused over-the-top video news brand, Newsy, has launched on the Hulu streaming platform in the US.
Hulu’s subscriber base of nearly 12 million customers will now have on-demand access to Newsy’s daily news reports covering world and national news, policy, culture, science and technology.
Newsy said it will publish 30 news stories a day to Hulu, alongside longer-form content such as original series like Americanize Me and My First President.
“Partnering with Hulu gives Newsy the opportunity to further our reach with the growing population of young people who are seeking an alternative to cable news,” said Blake Sabatinelli, general manager of Newsy.
“Hulu’s strong channel lineup and focus on over-the-top delivery makes it a natural platform for our cord-cutting audience to engage with our content.”
All clips and stories are available to stream through Hulu’s No Commercials and Limited Commercials subscription plans.
