Netia grows TV base
Polish service provider Netia saw its TV base increase by 14% year-on-year to reach 169,000 in June.
Residential ARPU remained stable over the year at PLN56 (€13), although the number of services per subscriber rose modestly, from 1.46 a year ago to 1.54 in June.
Total revenue-generating units fell by 1.4% over the quarter to 2.189 million, which the company said was due to a decision to withdraw from the active acquisition of low-margin regulated access customers.
Overall, Netia’s first-half revenues grew by 1% to PLN777,368. Q2 revenues grew by 2% to PLN386,874, despite what the company described as intense competitive pressure.
Adjusted EBITDA was PLN115 million for the quarter, up 5%.
