Triax names new COO
Cable technology company Triax has named Steve Donachie as its new chief commercial officer.
Donachie previously headed up the EMEA satellite business of Pace, now owned by Arris. He served in a number of senior roles at the UK set-top giant over seven years.
At Triax, Donachie will report to CEO Claus Omann. He will be based in Denmark, the UK and Spain and will lead the sales and commercial management teams across Triax’s EMEA offices at the Denmark HQ and in Sweden, UK, France, Germany, Austria, Spain, Hungary and Dubai. He will also continue to work with key partners for the APAC and Americas regions.
“I am absolutely thrilled to be joining the Triax exec team at this very exciting time in the company’s evolution from an historic, well known hardware product supplier to a high quality TV distribution network solution provider. With the recent investment of Polaris Private Equity in Triax we are even better positioned to expand sales of our TV distribution network business internationally across the market segments for single residential homes, local cable networks for apartments and businesses like hotels and through our extensive partner network for public and private TV network operators,” said Donachie.
