Vodafone Netherlands extends IPTV deals

Vodafone Netherlands is extending its partnership with set-top box maker Amino and systems integrator Divitel for the continued rollout of its Dutch IPTV service.

The extended contract will see Amino continue to supply TV devices that offer advanced TV services – including pause live TV, DVR, restart TV and a video on demand library from several broadcasters.

“Vodafone Netherlands is at the forefront of a trend for mobile operators to add advanced video services to their offering. We are delighted that the proven quality of our products and our ability to deliver great service with integration partners such as Divitel, has secured this important contract extension for continued supply of Amino TV devices,” said Amino Group CEO, Donald McGarva.

Head of consumer fixed at Vodafone Netherlands, Gerard Overmars, said: “Quality, flexibility and great service were the main drivers for choosing Divitel and Amino as partners to help us drive continued rollout of our Vodafone Thuis TV service across the Netherlands.”
