Report: RCS & RDS to list shares on Bucharest exchange

Romanian cable operator RCS & RDS is preparing to list a package of up to 25% of its shares on the Bucharest Stock Exchange, according to Economica.net.

The Romanian financial news site reported that the sale of the minority share could fetch between €400 – €500 million.

RCS & RDS reportedly looked at listing on the London Stock Exchange back in 2007, but opted to instead take a bank loan to fund growth.

The firm is said to hold more than a 60% share of the Romanian cable market.
