Talking Pictures TV launches on Freesat

Archive film and television channel, Talking Pictures TV, has launched on UK free satellite TV service, Freesat.

The independent channel, which airs a range of films stretching back to the 1930s, including westerns, comedies, thrillers and dramas, takes channel number 306 on the EPG.

Talking Pictures TV is already available on the Sky and Freeview platforms in the UK, on channel numbers 343 and 81 respectively.

“Our channel is serving a much needed gap for Britain’s older demographic and film lovers alike, and Freesat is an excellent match for our channel,” said Talking Pictures TV managing director Sarah Cronin-Stanley.
