Netflix updates Windows 10 app

Netflix has updated its Windows 10 app with a new user experience and responsive layout.

The new version of the app is based on Microsoft’s Universal Windows Platform, which is designed to work across all Windows 10 devices – including PCs, tablets and phones.

The updated browsing experience offers vertical scrolling through categories and horizontal scrolling through titles, while a new details view includes “large, cinematic artwork for the show or movie” as well as content suggestions.

“Our members on Windows run across many different screen sizes, resolutions and scaling factors. The new version of the application uses a responsive layout to optimise the size and placement of items based on the window size and scaling factor,” said Netflix.
